Space Travel
Kaafebaloos have developed huge spaceships for interplanetary and intergalactic travels. Their latest spaceship called the KA-15R can travel faster than light - allowing them to travel to Earth in under 10 years. KA-15R is massive in size measuring about the length of our Moon. Most importantly, this ship is capable of transforming into a planet wide forcefield shield. The technology used in their spaceships are super advanced and understanding how they work is nearly impossible without any help from the Kaafebaloos. A few examples of technologies in these ships include: FTL Engine, Artificial gravity, Forcefields to protect the ship from debris in space etc.
Supply / Logistics
Kaafebaloos have a need to transport goods and materials around their planet to where they need them. They would use multiple kinds of technology to carry out logistics, for example they have underground conveyor mechanism systems where materials are sent to their desired destination. In addition to this, they would use air devices similar to human airplanes that will transport goods across much longer distances. Super-sonic fast transport tubes are present all across their planet underground - these are used to send gaseous and liquid materials easily and very quickly. Another form of logistic technology the Kaafebaloos have is their outer-space automation machines that allow them to transport materials from other planetary objects in their solar system.
Underground Tunnels
Most of the time Kaafebaloos stay underground on their planet due to extreme temperatures on the surface. Because of this, underground tunnels get created so they can build structures to live or work in. They would use digging and drilling technology to create these tunnels. Most the underground tunnels are very wide but not particularly tall - this gives more surface area for the Kaafebaloos living down there.Construction & Innovation
Machines & Tools
Innovation is a key part of Kaafebaloos lives, therefore they have created and developed new types of technology to help them originate new things and build upon what they already have to make improvements. Kaafebaloos have created tools to help them decipher new discoveries, so they have a better understanding on how to make something out of it. Machines are used to build large megastructures that would otherwise be too much of a task for the Kaafebaloos. As well as this, they have smaller and tiny machines to complete the very delicate and complex creations.
Communication Devices
Kaafebaloos are very innovation motivated when it comes to how they communicate with each other. Even though they can communicate with each other easily either by poking or being connected to the great underground network on the surface of their planet there are cases where technology is required. Communication devices are required if they are operating at outer-space stations or travelling on a spaceship since they are not capable of using their planets underground network. Instead, they have developed technology that transmits information and messages that can be sent between each of the Kaafebaloos. Kaafebaloos have also invented ways to translate alien languages, being prepared for whatever language barrier there would be and so they have a really good idea what kind of species they are about to come across.Defensive strategies
Kaafebaloos have invented one main defensive technology, these are forcefields. Forcefields have given the possibility to prevent and block out cosmic threats either natural or invasions from other species. Forcefields are used to keep dangerous materials, viruses and gases from being able to be exposed to the Kaafebaloos. Furthermore, these forcefields come with a massive power requirement and this will mean huge amounts of energy is used to keep these working properly - Kaafebaloos have come up with ways to combat this by sourcing energy from their two stars. The forcefields are so powerful it would take a planet sized object to crash through. Even though the Kaafebaloos never have ever been threatened by other species they have met, since the first encounter with an alien species that turned out to be too barbaric for them, they did conclude that stronger defences were needed to protect their planet just in case.
In addition to forcefields, there's another piece of technology that the Kaafebaloos use to protect themselves. This would be their energy disruptive weapons. The energy disruptive weapon would disable and prevent the use of energy output on a targeted area anywhere either in space or on land. Capable of disabling other weapons, shutting down computers, powering down large starships for the purpose of preventing any hostile aliens with their technological weapons from killing or damaging the Kaafebaloos and the home world Kaafe. This kind of technology is no way offensive in nature as it just used for defensive reasons - a weapon that can only disable weapons is a peaceful weapon.
The starship KA-15R has a secret, this ship can transform into a hugging forcefield to protect a planet. Encapsulating the planet to give protection against any outer-space threats and to provide safety from supernovae. The transformation begins by the ship opening up with enormous long mechanical arms which stretch out really far and which would then be wrapped around a planet fully. Kaafebaloos created and wanted this so they can protect their new friend who ever it would be.
