The planet named Kaafe
Kaafe is an exotic terrestrial planet which is located 1,125 light years away from Earth. It is the home to the Kaafebaloos species and their only home for many millions of years. Kaafe is 20% bigger than Earth by size however the mass of planet is about 35% lighter than Earth mass. The location of this planet is nearer to the center of the galaxy. On this planet a day would last just over 16 earth days, another thing to mention is that this planet is tidal locked meaning one side is facing the parent star all the time and the other side is facing away in eternal darkness. The climate of the planet Kaafe is quite calm except for times when a small storm would disrupt the neighbours. Kaafebaloos do not need such thing as lights since they use their tentacles to scan for obstructions in their path and so they can navigate.
The planet goes through very little climate change, but if it does change there would be lots of warning as the climate on this planet is very slow moving. Seasons are non-existent on Kaafe and basically the only season they have is Summer. However, depending where you are on the planet's surface, you may experience temperature drops and increases. There is a brief time when both stars in the solar system are both in the sky and will result in hotter temperatures. This planet's solar system is part of a binary star system meaning two stars are present. In this solar system the planets parent star is rotating around the main systems star (very slowly I might add).
Volcanoes are scattered across the entire planet, however most of these are in-active and has been for millions of years. In some cases, the mount of the volcano reaches the outer ridges of the planet's atmosphere.
The environment
Kaafe has a breathtaking environment that includes tall mountains, purple oceans, rich plant life and interesting caves. The sky is purple in colour - the oceans look purple because of reflection the atmosphere. The plant life on its own is expansive with millions of different species of plant life. Trees on this planet can grow as wide as how tall they grow - they can grow as high as half a mile upwards into the sky. The oceans including rivers are warm in temperature - where it in human standards would be perfect for swimming in. However, the oceans on this planet have harmful elements which will not bond well with our bodies. The caves can go really deep and wide where it has been used for shelter by the Kaafebaloos most of their lives - the caves can trap good temperatures and shelter from harmful storms.
The tallest mountain named Kiko reaches an outstanding height of 10.5 miles!
Temperatures can reach upwards of 60°C mainly in deserts. Alternatively it can go as cold as negative 180 degrees celsius.
