Since it does not rain often in the same place they must take as much as they can while it lasts. Absorbing their nutrients do not give calories as such however they do help by giving great health benefits to the Kaafebaloos and ensuring them to have a long prosperous life.

Interestingly, Kaafebaloos in fact are faced with many diseases throughout their planet. These include root destroying diseases, poisonous plant life, absorption deficit syndrome and more. All of these can take an effect on the physiology of many Kaafebaloos. In addition to this, they deal with viruses of such kind that can destroy the genetic structure of a Kaafebaloo.
The Kaafebaloos have technologically advanced enough to counterattack many of their diseases.
